Sell like a Home Shopping Host!

According to Hootsuite, “The average US social buyer will spend $518 via this channel in 2022, up 27% from last year, according to Insider Intelligence. Annual spend will increase by $419 per buyer over the next three years, reaching $937 in 2025. And social commerce sales growth is also expected to remain above pre-pandemic levels through to 2024.”

They go on to acknowledge that one of the greatest barriers to a consumer making a purchase via social commerce is TRUST. This could refer to questioning that the product they are receiving is “as advertised” but also they don’t trust recommendations of the “Influencer”. Another outlier is not “having enough information” about the product.

Every single one of those impediments to making a purchase can be minimized when you not only have the right representative for your product but are also able to properly describe and demonstrate your product and it’s features and benefits.

How your product is sold or represented on live or social commerce can have a huge impact on sales. HSN registered $3.6 Billion in revenue in 2021.
